Years 3-6 visited Koolang Observatory at Bucketty to consolidate our class unit on Space.
Despite the bad weather, and the only cloudy night in two months, we all learned a lot from our visit to Koolang. Did you know that Pluto, is offically not a planet anymore? It is a dwarf planet, and it is only as big as Australia!
Koolang staff commented on the knowledge our children possessed, their keen interest and their very clever (never ending) questions. Well done children.
